Blue Peter pets and such like
Am i the only one who only just noticed that together Kari and Oke's names say Kareoke?! just like 'only smarties have the answer! if u only just got the pun on that (meaning that only smart ppl hav the answer) then raise ur hand, or email me at tuer_le_mouchoir@hotmail.com and tell me. coz i know im not the only one who is slow (coz pete and gemma r too)

My name is Oke and my most favorite food ever is freshly cooked rabbit(no offence to all you bunny lovers out there)
I love any toy with cat nip in it.(i'm a bit of an addict) i'm not afraid of anything, in fact I'm a bit of an explorer and love bossing the five other cats that Kari and I live with around! My worst habbit is having a mad five minutes where I run about all over the place! I chase round-and-round in a circle trying to catch my tail - and when I catch it I let go and start all over again!(which i admit is a little bit stupid but there you go i'm a cat what can you do?) i love being able to sleep all day. (just like lorna)
Both Kari and I were rescued from troubled times as kittens. I was found abandoned in a bush as a kitten. Kari and I both arrived at the Woodgreen Rescue Centre (which is one of the one's on Pet Rescue!) at the same time where helpers encouraged Kari's mum to 'adopt' me as though I was one of her own kittens. Luckily she did and so Kari and I became brother and sister!! Six weeks after being abandoned we made our Blue Peter debuts!

I love any toy with cat nip in it. My owner grows it in her garden, picks it, then dries it out. She hides it in the toys that she makes and I love them! I roll around on the floor and rub up against it.
I'm scared of Dogs (apart from the Bp dogs obv)
My worst habbit is sharpening my claws on the furniture
i love being able to potter about in the garden not doing an awful lot. I spend about 15 hours a day asleep. I like to sleep in the garden.

I have passed my Gold Test, part of the Good Citizen Dog Scheme. I was tested on lots of things, including my food manners!
I love roast chicken, mixed vegetables and gravy.
i also love any toy that squeaks. I also like playing tug-of-war with a rag. i'm scared of being on my own. Or being told its time to go home after a nice long walk! My bad habbit is tearing up any junk mail that is posted through my owner's door - but I do leave the regular mail alone!! I love having my tummy tickled. Also lying on my back with a squeaky toy in my mouth. I lift the squeaky toy out of my mouth with my paws, catch my breath then put the toy back in my mouth and carry on playing with it! |

Footprints In The Sand
One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed he was walking along the
beach with the Lord.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene, he noticed two sets of
footprints in the sand; one belonging to
him, and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed
before him, he looked back at the
footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the
path of his life there was only one set
of footprints.
He also noticed that it happend at the
very lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned
the Lord about it.
"Lord, you said that once I decided to follow
you, you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life there is only
one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when I needed
you most you would leave me."
The Lord replied, "My precious, precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering, when
you see only one set of footprints in the sand
it was then that I carried you."
